Job Summary And Requirements This is to fill 1 term full time position working 75 hours bi-weekly. The Department of Justice is working to ensure Yukon remains a safe, secure, and healthy place to live and work. This position supports the orderly proceedings of the courts by processing documents for all levels of court and with respect to court fees, fines and moneys owing, providing assistance and information on the process and requirements for civil and family court proceedings, managing transcript and court audio requests, providing administrative support to the judiciary and managing access to official court records. Successful completion of post-secondary program in Office, Business, or Legal Administration; Experience performing administrative functions (preferably in a legal environment); Experience researching and interpreting and applying legislation; Experience working with digital recording system For the Record would be an asset; Experience working with the Yukon Rules of Court and knowledge of the Yukon justice system would be an asset. Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above will be equally considered.
