If you thrive in a fast-paced, international setting and want to play a key role in shaping our finance processes, this could be your next career move!Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for financial and management accounting for GPV Group A/S and GPV International A/S in Denmark, ensuring compliance and accuracy in our financial reporting.
Key responsibilities include: Full responsibility for statutory and management accountingEnsure compliance with local GAAP and IFRS standardsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting legislation and principlesHandle VAT and other statutory filingsPerform monthly general ledger entries (e. g.
, salaries, accruals, adjustments)Manage bank payments, oversee liquidity and preparing cash flow forecastsPrepare monthly and annual closingsPrepare documentation for internal and external audits (interim, hard close, and year-end)Reconcile balance sheet accountsCollaborate closely with our Finance Shared Service Center in Estonia (AP/AR)Act as a super user in finance systems (Dynamics Axapta / Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO)Participate actively in ERP implementation projectsEnsure in-depth knowledge of financial processes within the legal entitiesStakeholder CollaborationIn this role, you will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including local auditors, tax authorities, banks, Group Treasury as well as internal finance colleagues and controllers across locations.
