Are you our new Dietitian colleague?Family Dietetics is looking to expand our team.Do you too prefer a hands-on application of dietetics and skill building?Company DescriptionFamily Dietetics takes a neurodiverse affirming and acceptance approach to dietetics, focusing on whole person and family nutrition goals. Our team of Dietitians, Allied Health Assistants and Early Childhood educators specialise in paediatric dietetics, Responsive Feeding Therapy, and disability or behavioral management education and Play Therapy. Peer supervisionCPD budgetWell-resourced teamEAP Easter, Melbourne Cup and Christmas closure periods Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Grade 2/3 Dietitian at Family Dietetics with availability negotiable across our multiple sites. The Dietitian will be responsible for providing nutritional counseling, hands-on feeding therapy in our specially designed Therapy Kitchens, assisting with growth curve establishment from birth to teens, and general nutrition guidance to clients on a day-to-day basis. The dietitian may be required to see clients in home, school and SIL environments as well as at clinic and via Telehealth.QualificationsAccredited Practising DietitianPaediatric Dietetics Postgraduate qualificationsExperience (of at least 1 year) working with paediatric, physical and neurological disabilities.Experience (of at least 1 year) with hands on Feeding Therapy deliveryStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a teamKnowledge of Eating Disorders and working towards Credentialing is a plusKnowledge of the National Disability Insurance Agency
