Fyfe work with a wide range of clients in the Property & Infrastructure and Energy & Resources sectors to provide high quality, commercially pragmatic solutions with a strong focus on client service and delivery.Our Property & Infrastructure team in Adelaide provides a comprehensive range of town planning services to both the private and public sector. Our town planning team have been responsible for major planning initiatives at a strategic, policy and development application level and is working on a number of significant projects in South Australia and the Northern Territory.About The RoleWere looking for an enthusiastic and detail-driven Graduate Planner to join our dynamic Planning Team, focusing initially on Permits and Approvals for major state and national infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career in planning, working alongside a national team of experts delivering sustainable, compliant, and impactful project outcomes.What Youll DoAs a Graduate Planner, youll:Assist with preparing and coordinating planning and environmental approvals.Support due diligence assessments for infrastructure and development projects.Contribute to the preparation of development applications under relevant legislation and planning schemes.Conduct research and analysis on planning and environmental matters.Draft reports, briefing notes, and stakeholder correspondence.Liaise with government agencies, consultants, and community stakeholders.Participate in site visits and community engagement activities, helping shape sustainable outcomes.What Youll BringA tertiary qualification (or nearing completion) in Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Geography, or a related field.Understanding of planning legislation, environmental regulations, and development approvals.Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.A collaborative mindset and analytical approach to problem-solving.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic GIS tools.Its a Plus If You Have:Experience or familiarity with planning frameworks, environmental assessments, or development systems.Awareness of heritage, biodiversity, or climate adaptation in project planning.Previous work experience or internships in a planning or environmental field.CultureFyfe values our clients and our people and has a culture built on respect, integrity and the delivery of value.
