Who We AreAustralian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) owns, operates and invests in infrastructure which delivers gas to more than two million homes and businesses, and is one of the largest gas infrastructure businesses in Australia. AGIG manages over 36,000km of distribution networks, more than 4,300km of transmission pipelines and 60 petajoules of storage capacity. This unique two-year program offers you the chance to rotate through Customer & Community, Strategy & Sustainability, and Corporate Affairs—building your skills, professional network, and understanding of the energy sector.What You Will ExperienceCustomer & Community Marketing: Contribute to national advertising campaigns and help shape our social media presence through high-profile partnerships and initiatives.Customer Experience (CX): Dive into design thinking and customer journey mapping to improve how customers experience energy.Customer Research: Build capability in our Qualtrics survey tool and help develop our national research program.Data & Analytics: Explore and apply new AI tools to strengthen our analytic capabilities and guide business decisions.Social License: Engage with community partnership programs, volunteer with not-for-profits, and support renewable gas projects.Digital Experience: Enhance our website’s content and usability to improve the customer digital journeyStrategy & Sustainability ESG & Sustainability: Track progress to our ESG targets, benchmark and recommend new targets, collect and report on ESG metrics, and participate in climate scenario analysis and workshops.Emissions Reporting: Support emissions reporting using the National Greenhouse Energy Reporting Scheme (NGERs).Shareholder Reporting: Assist with reporting to shareholders on sustainability and climate initiatives.Strategy: Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, government policy, and regulatory changes; analyse and visualise data; and collaborate with teams across the business to support strategic initiatives and business planning.Policy: Prepare briefing materials, discussion papers, presentations, and clear written communications for both internal and external audiences to inform business decisions and future planning.Corporate AffairsGovernment Relations: Support our engagement with governments by conducting research, developing briefings and talking points, and contributing to advocacy strategies on key business issues, including stakeholder mapping, research, and drafting key messages.Communications: Help develop impactful communications by creating external materials such as speaking notes, media releases, and social media posts, as well as writing or designing company-wide materials for our internal communications channels to keep teams engaged and informed.About YouRecently completed (or soon to complete) a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Marketing, Business, Public Policy, Sustainability, Data Analytics, or related).Creative thinker with strong communication and analytical skills.Passionate about customer experience, community engagement, and sustainability.Eager to learn, adapt, and contribute to a high-performing, inclusive team.Comfortable working with data, digital tools, and new technologies.Committed to making a positive impact for customers and communities.What We OfferWe are proud to be recognised as an inclusive employer by Diversity Council Australia, and our commitment to diversity and inclusion has earned us recognition in 2023-2024.
