Graduate Engineer

ROLE- Junior Mechatronic Engineer LOCATION- AndoverTERM- Permanent SALARY- £28,000- £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)My client works within the engineering manufacturing sector, and they are looking to take on a Junior Mechatronic Engineer, on a permanent basis, to join their team in Andover.The Junior Mechatronic Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ / qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar1 years’ or more experience working in a similar hands-on Mechanical Design / Development position within a manufacturing environmentProficiency with using 3D CAD; ideally SolidWorks but other software will be consideredHave the ability to select the correct engineering components and materialsPrevious experience of working with special purpose machine assemblies, test rigs or precision tooling would be desirableExcellent communication skillsThe ability to work well alone as well as part of a teamThe Junior Mechatronic Engineer role will involve:Designing development equipment, prototype production tooling, test rigs, machine parts and other equipment in an engineering development environment Working with SolidWorks CAD softwareUpdating 3D models and drawingsInputting parts into the MRP system creating BOMsChecking drawings for sign offWorking in a multi-disciplinary engineering teamProviding engineering problem resolution and support Working in a small multi-disciplinary team on varied projectsIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
