Our small team works to the higheststandards and we expect everybody to focus on high quality service delivery and attentionto detail.Job Responsibilities:External Marketing:Produce booklets, posters, flyers, leaflets, and other graphic design elements to promote Vectare’s services to the wide range of markets that we serveWork with the Lead Graphic Designer and Directors to produce large-scale graphic elements (e.g., pull-up banners, exhibition stands) to support marketing activities at events and exhibitionsProduce, and update, a range of suitably sized graphic elements for use on social media, ideally including illustrations and photographsCollaborate with the Lead Graphic Designer and Commercial Manager to create, maintain, and update booklets, posters, flyers, leaflets, and other graphic design elements relating to Vectare’s local bus services, ensuring that an accurate and up-to-date suite of publicity for this work is maintainedInternal Marketing:Produce booklets, posters, flyers, leaflets, and other graphic design elements as required to communicate messages to Vectare staff/subcontractors (e.g., internal notices/updates etc.)Work with the Client Services team and Lead Graphic Designer to create and maintain an up-to-date set of “How We Work” guides for distribution to clients, staff, and subcontractors as requiredAssist the Commercial Manager and Compliance Manager in maintaining an up-to-date Staff Handbook and Driver Handbook for distribution to staff as requiredClient Marketing:Produce Transport and Travel Guides and other ad-hoc marketing collateral on behalf of our education sector and corporate clientsReview client brand guidelines and ensure that all external work completed is in accordance with the relevant client’s brand guidelinesLiaise directly with clients in relation to proofing changes/updates required to their work, communicating professionally, resolving issues raised by clients promptly, and logging all hours worked accurately for billing purposesMapping:Take Adobe Illustrator exports from our mapping software, manipulate the Map Key and place labels and position text around mapped elements to create an attractive mapping productMake updates to maps on an ad-hoc basis as requested by clients/colleaguesWebsite Design:Work with the Lead Graphic Designer and Directors to produce initial and detailed graphic designs for websites, which will then be passed to our Technology team for developmentWork with the Lead Graphic Designer to create graphic elements and assets for the webAbout You:People are at the heart of our business and at Vectare, we only want the best people. This would ideally include commercial/corporate design work, but we also welcome applicants who can demonstrate their creativeflair through personal/artistic works as well.You will need to have experience with:Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)Strong knowledge of print design, layout, typography, colour, and design principleFamiliarity with Figma, After Effects, video editing or animation is a plusExcellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skillsTo fit in and be successful at Vectare, you’ll need to be an enthusiastic individual who canconfidently answer ‘yes’ to all these questions:Do I work well independently, and as part of a team?Am I a good communicator, in person, over the phone, and in writing?Can I work on my own initiative, and use discretion and autonomy to solve problems proactively and compassionately?Am I innovative? Can I create solutions to these problems using my own initiative?Can I be flexible, calm under pressure, and able to cope with a fast pace of change?Am I able to manage multiple responsibilities at once by focusing on one task whilst keeping track of othersWhilst an interest in transport is desirable, it is not essential because most of the skills werequire are not transport-specific; we want confident, enthusiastic people, and you can learnabout transport “on the job” if it is not an industry you have worked in before.All candidates must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom, and must provide a link to a portfolio or PDF of relevant work samples to be considered.
