Visit www.nyrstar.comOverview Of The RoleAn exciting opportunity has become available for a Graduate Metallurgist to join the Nyrstar Port Pirie operations, commencing immediately.The two year Graduate Program provides exposure to all aspects of the business and plant operations including:Finance, Safety and EnvironmentMetallurgical Planning and Technical ProjectsRotations through the Smelter’s pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical processes, including Top Submerged Lance (TSL) Furnace, Blast Furnace, Refinery, Zinc Slag Fuming and Copper PlantsExposure to various operating styles with mentoring provided by Senior Plant Metallurgists and support from engineers and operatorsOpportunity to grow with leadership training and ongoing technical professional education where availableThis is a residential opportunity, based in Port Pirie, South Australia on a Monday to Friday roster.
