We are hiring for a Graduate Project Manager to be based out of our Toowoomba office. This role is offered on a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. You will have the opportunity to learn from, and partner with, experienced project managers to develop the skills, competency and capability required to effectively manage a range of multidisciplinary (civil, mechanical, structural, electrical) engineering projects across GrainCorp’s country and port operations. Specifically, you will: Support experienced Project Managers in the design, planning and execution of a range of multidisciplinary projects Develop and apply the skills, knowledge and processes involved in each phase of the project lifecycle Develop end-to-end project documentation Understand and manage stakeholder needs Assist with project issues and changes Participate in project review and log lessons learned Identify, assess and report on risks Support procurement activities and contractor management Determine appropriate project control mechanisms Efficient and regular reporting on project status. As you continue to develop your competency and confidence in the role, you can expect to take on additional responsibility, including the end-to-end delivery of your own projects.About your experienceOur ideal candidate has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar - completed within the last two years at most - as well as the following: Demonstrated understanding of the project lifecycle including work breakdown, scheduling, cost control, quality, and risk management Strong IT literacy including Microsoft Excel and Word Sound communication and time management skills Australian citizenship or permanent residency or a valid work visa Valid driver licence and able / willing to undertake regular travel to project sites within remit.
