The hotel features a blend of historic design with modern amenities, including 283 rooms, a rooftop bar, Palmen restaurant, lobby bar, banquet and conference departments, spa, fitness room, and on-site parking. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef at the Grand Hotel Oslo. The Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, preparing and cooking meals, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring food quality and presentation meet the hotel's high standards.
Qualifications Experience in food preparation, culinary arts, and kitchen managementKnowledge of food safety and sanitation regulationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a teamCreativity in developing new dishes and menusStrong communication and organizational skillsAttention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality dishesFormal culinary education or certification is a plusPrevious experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment is preferred
