Job description: Sales ManagerAbout the roleAs the Sales Manager, you will be responsible to maximise total revenue potential for Grand Hyatt across the MICE, Rooms & Events market segments with a focus on the acquisition of new business, and also the retention and development of existing business, in line with personal business plan goals. Working in the sales and marketing team, you will support the Director of Sales in the day to day operations as well as supporting the team to achieve our purpose.
This varied and dynamic role provides a chance to develop your Hospitality career within an international company. Some of the responsibilities include: Achieve established monthly personal plan targets set in conjunction with the Director of Sales. Maintain existing relationships with key travel management companies and develop new relationships to ensure optimum exposure within the market segment. Work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to review hotel sales targets and pricing strategies for all key accounts. Assist sales colleagues where required with account management and demonstrating Hyatt’s selling techniques. Review personal business plans monthly.
Ensure all reports and correspondence are completed accurately and punctually. Actively pursue marketing intelligence and potential business opportunities.
