In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll guide and support a dedicated team within our materials recovery operations — ensuring production goals, safety standards, and quality expectations are consistently met.If you lead by example, take pride in teamwork, and value continuous improvement, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a company where your work truly matters.Job PurposeTo lead and coordinate daily operations within the Granulation Department, ensuring efficient material processing, team performance, and compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day granulation operations to meet production goalsProvide direction, coaching, and support to team members for safe, effective performancePromote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvementMonitor and record departmental metrics accurately using Excel and online databasesCoordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with product and process standardsOversee proper processing, separation, and staging of materials for later production stagesChampion the FIFO (First In, First Out) initiative to ensure material flow accuracyIdentify training needs and support team skill developmentMaintain compliance with internal documentation, ISO, and operational proceduresRecommend and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and safetyEducation And Work Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious experience in manufacturing, recycling, or material recovery preferredProven leadership or team lead experience requiredForklift experience a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentCompliance RequirementsEmployment in this position requires compliance with NAID (National Association for Information Destruction) standards and ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirements.
