You'll have significant creative freedom and ownership over FindVil's visual identity.This role is perfect for someone who:Wants to build their portfolio with real startup work (not just spec projects)Is excited about creating content that directly impacts growth metricsLoves moving fast and iterating based on dataWhat you'll create:Social media graphics (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)Ad creative for Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn AdsLanding page designs and web graphicsEmail newsletter templatesInfographics explaining product featuresPresentation decks for investors and partnersBrand assets (icons, illustrations, templates)ResponsibilitiesContent Creation (70% of time):Design 15-20 social media graphics per week (various sizes, platforms)Create ad creative for paid campaigns (A/B test variations)Design landing page elements and CTAs that convertDevelop infographics and explainer graphics for blog postsCreate email newsletter templates and graphicsDesign product screenshots and mockups for marketing materialsBrand Development (20% of time):Evolve and maintain FindVil's visual brand identityCreate brand guidelines and design systemsDevelop icon sets and illustration librariesEnsure consistency across all marketing materialsCollaboration (10% of time):Work with the founder on strategic campaign visualsCollaborate with marketing lead on campaign conceptsProvide design input on product UI/UX (not primary responsibility but nice-to-have)Present design concepts and rationale for key projectsRequired QualificationsMust-Haves:Portfolio demonstrating professional design work (REQUIRED - applications without portfolio will not be reviewed)2+ years of professional graphic design experience (agency, in-house, or freelance)Expert proficiency in design tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), or Canva ProStrong understanding of social media design best practices (platform-specific sizing, engagement-driven design)Experience designing for digital marketing (ads, landing pages, email)Portfolio showing variety: social graphics, web design, ad creative, brand workPreferred (Nice-to-Haves):Experience at early-stage startups or high-growth companiesUnderstanding of conversion-focused design (CRO principles)Basic motion design skills (animated graphics, GIFs, simple videos)Experience with A/B testing ad creativeKnowledge of UI/UX design principlesCopywriting skills (able to suggest headline/copy improvements)Understanding of brand strategy and positioningPersonality/Work Style:Fast executor: Can turn around social graphics in hours, not daysSelf-directed: Doesn't need hand-holding; can take a brief and run with itData-curious: Interested in what performs well, willing to iterate based on metricsStartup mentality: Comfortable with ambiguity, changing priorities, wearing multiple hatsHow to ApplySend the following to abiodun.anifowose@findvil.com with subject line: "Graphic Designer - [Your Name]"Required:Portfolio link (Dribbble, Behance, personal website, or PDF) - MUST include examples of:Social media graphicsWeb/landing page designBrand workBrief introduction (3-5 sentences):Why you're interested in FindVil specificallyWhat makes you a great fit for early-stage startup environmentYour availability and rate expectationsResume or LinkedIn profileBonus (not required but helpful):Link to a social media design you're particularly proud ofQuick redesign concept for FindVil's LinkedIn banner or Instagram post (unsolicited spec work - only if you're excited to do it!)Questions?Feel free to reach out with questions about the role by creating a Ticket on our Help Center page - login required (choose the "Hiring Enquiry" category).
