Job Description

We’re looking for a thoughtful and skilled graphic designer to join Singita’s marketing team on a contract basis. This is a hybrid position, approximately three days per week, including one day in the Cape Town office. The role covers a wide range of design needs across the business, from print and digital collateral to email campaigns and internal communications.You will report to the Senior Graphic Designer and collaborate closely with teams across the business. You’ll interpret briefs and create visually refined, brand-aligned work. The scope is broad and fast-paced, so a balance of creativity, structure, and efficiency is key.We’re looking for someone who can move comfortably between projects, maintain brand consistency, and bring fresh ideas while respecting Singita’s visual identity.ResponsibilitiesDesign and update marketing, sales, and internal materials across digital and print formatsSupport monthly email communicationsMaintain visual and brand consistency across all collateralLiaise with internal teams to understand needs, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality workAssist with the rollout and updating of lodge and brand collateralContribute creative ideas and help refine how the brand is visually expressedSkills & Experience2–5 years of professional design experience (agency or in-house)Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience designing for email marketing and willingness to learn tools like Stripo or Campaign MonitorFamiliarity with CanvaExcellent layout, typography, and file-management skillsA sharp eye for photography, colour, and tone — able to create cohesive, intentional, and visually appealing workOrganised, flexible, and comfortable managing multiple briefsAvailable to work one day per week from our Cape Town officeAdvantageous: Basic illustration skills or interest in developing them
