Job Description

Main tasksResearch and interpret data from internal and external sources to identify potential stories and insights relevant to the Parliament’s communication priorities.Propose and implement creative data-driven visual concepts for digital campaigns and institutional communication, based on briefs from topic experts and coordinators.Create infographics, both static and animated, optimised for different platforms and audiences.Develop clear, accurate, and visually engaging data stories that explain complex topics in an accessible way.Design adaptable templates (e.g. Canva) for use by EPLOs and multilingual teams, ensuring consistency with Parliament brand guidelines.Ensure accuracy, transparency, and brand alignment in all data visualisations, complying with institutional guidelines and editorial direction.Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g. topic experts, analysts, content creators, and strategists) to deliver fit-for-purpose visual and journalistic outputs.Participate in relevant meetings, providing input on design, storytelling, and data visualisation standards.Maintain documentation of production processes and ensure that deliverables are properly archived and formatted for distribution.Respond to ad-hoc visual and creative requests, delivering timely and impactful data-driven content.About youYou combine journalistic curiosity with creative visual design skills.You are passionate about transforming complex data into clear and engaging stories.You have a strong sense of visual communication and attention to detail.You are experienced in creating infographics, data explainers, and animations for digital media.You are proactive, enthusiastic, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.You have excellent organisational skills and can deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines.You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro); experience with data tools (Flourish, Tableau, or equivalent) is an asset.You are proficient in English (mandatory).What can you expect from us?Mind-blowing workplace culture.
