To upkeep our commitment to keeping Auckland pristine, we’re looking for a dedicated Town Centre Cleaner to join our Auckland Facilities team!Role OverviewResponsibilitiesAs a Town Centre Cleaner, you’ll be an all-rounder, committed to ensuring the Town Centre is clean and safe. Your main responsibilities will include:

Assisting with road sweeper operationsWater blasting for hard surface cleaningWeed spraying for vegetation controlLitter collection and disposalCleaning and maintaining bus stopsRubbish bin cleaningOperating leaf blowers to keep paths clearCleaning curbs and channelsDriving class 2 trucks, small vehicles, and road sweepersThis role is Monday to Friday, starting at 6am and working through to 2: 30pm so you ,must be an early riser!About YouYou’re self-motivated with a strong work ethic and take pride in delivering high-quality results.

You’re comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to safety for yourself, your colleagues, and the public. You also bring excellent public relations skills, professionally representing both the Council and Green by Nature. A full Class 1 and ideally class 2 driver’s licence is essential for this role, as you’ll be operating a range of vehicles.
