Job Description

A national law firm in Manhattan is seeking a highly organized Administrative Assistant to support a team of attorneys. This is a direct-hire opportunity with strong long-term potential for someone committed to a career in legal administration. On-site schedule: 5 days per weekHours: 9: 00am–5: 30pmBase salary: $70-80K + discretionary bonus + OTResponsibilities:

Provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of attorneys, including calendar management, appointment scheduling, and phone coverageDraft, revise, and format legal documents for the litigation departmentPrepare and format Excel spreadsheetsCoordinate meetings, conference calls, and other daily logistics, including travel arrangement and authorizationMaintain both electronic and physical filing systems in accordance with firm policiesAssist with formatting Letters, Memorandums, Motions, etc, including New Case FormsPrepare expenses and check request formsEnter attorney time into the time management systemSupport document management and general office operations as neededQualifications:

3-5 years of legal administrative experience in a law firm settingProficiency with Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong skills in grammar, proofreading, formatting, and document handlingExpert knowledge of legal documentationTOC/TOA experience preferred, not requiredExcellent time management, organization, and communication skillsBachelor’s degree preferred but not required
