The holding company invests by acquiring stakes in privately held businesses, making commitments to private equity funds, placing capital in listed markets, and managing its liquidity proactively. All investment activities are directed toward themes with significant social and environmental impact, with a particular emphasis on the circular economy, education, and physical well-being.
To reinforce the Luxembourg team, the company is looking for an Investment Manager – Private Equity Funds & Asset Allocation. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Asset Management. Key ResponsibilitiesPrivate Equity Funds AnalysisEvaluate investment prospects across Buyout, Growth, and Venture Capital funds. Conduct thorough due diligence, reviewing strategy, team composition, historical results, competitive landscape, alignment of interests, and ESG considerations. Critically assess materials from General Partners and develop independent, well-founded opinions. Draft clear and persuasive investment notes for decision-making committees.
Monitor post-investment performance, including investor reporting, legal agreements, capital calls, and distributions; maintain regular dialogue with fund managers to stay informed and identify potential co-investment opportunities. Collaborate closely with external advisory firms on various matters. Additional DutiesListed Company Analysis & Equity Portfolio OversightAnalyze public companies, including their financial statements. Assess valuations using DCF models, peer comparisons, and multiples. Track both financial and ESG performance indicators. Suggest strategies for active shareholder engagement. Cash Management & Real Estate FinanceIdentify and assess short-term cash and fixed income instruments. Develop risk-return scenarios and monitor results.
Contribute ideas for liquidity management decisions in line with overall portfolio strategy. Work actively with banking partners on the structuring and negotiation of finance, particularly for real estate projects. Ensure effective relationships with both current and prospective financial counterparties. Your ProfileGraduate from a leading business school, engineering school, or university, with a focus on finance or economics. 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in investment roles within fund-of-funds, asset management, family offices, or private banking. Strong grasp of private equity vehicles and their structures. Advanced skills in financial analysis, including Excel modeling, valuation techniques, ratio analysis, and cash flow projections.
Keen interest in ESG topics, with the ability to generate high-quality non-financial reporting. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, proactive, intellectually curious, and able to synthesize complex information. Excellent interpersonal skills, team-oriented mindset, and natural ease in stakeholder interactions. Embody values such as generosity, responsibility, and dynamism, which are important to the family. Fluency in both French and English, with outstanding written and verbal abilities in both languages.
