What You鈥檒l DoManage end-to-end bookkeeping, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations. Be part of the new and growing Finance team, contributing to the implementation of new ERP systems. Handle the full payroll process, including salary calculations, deductions, benefits, and compliance with local regulations. Maintain and update the general ledger, journals, and other accounting records.
Track and manage expense reports, vendor payments, and invoices. Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Support the finance team with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc projects. Manage local VAT and tax reporting. Oversee external accounting partnerships in the US. Requirements: 7+ years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist or in a similar finance role. Strong knowledge of payroll processes, bookkeeping principles, and financial reporting. Experience with payroll software - Shiklolit (advantage). Proficiency with accounting - Priority, NetSuite, QuickBooks (MUST).
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Fluent English - reading, writing, and verbal communication. Relevant bookkeeping/accounting certification.
