Group Accountant (Commodity Trading + Big4 Audit)We are looking for a proactive Accountant to join a lean finance team within an international group engaged in investment and trading activities. The role covers end-to-end accounting for several holding entities and offers exposure to trading, treasury, and group-level reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesInvestment Holding EntitiesManage full sets of accounts and month-end close for multiple entities.Prepare management reports and financial statements in accordance with IFRS.Review subsidiary submissions, ensure accuracy of journals and reconciliations.Support group consolidation and intercompany reconciliations.Trading OperationsRecord and reconcile transactions related to trading and hedging activities.Monitor financing costs, mark-to-market movements, and related balances.Ensure correct accounting for trade-related expenses, income, and bank movements.Audit, Reporting & ComplianceLead year-end audits and prepare reporting packs for management.Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.Support impairment testing, valuations, and tax/GST submissions.Projects & ImprovementsContribute to system enhancements and process improvements.Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects.Key RequirementsDegree in Accounting or Finance; CA / CPA / ACCA preferred.Big 4 audit experience, ideally with financial services or trading clients.3+ years’ experience in accounting or reporting.Strong IFRS knowledge.Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel.Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.Singaporean or PR only.
