This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a finance leader who can balance high-level corporate initiatives with day-to-day execution in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.Position: Group CFOLocation: GautengSalary: R2.2mil to R2.6mil ex performance bonusQualifications: CA(SA) (not negotiable)Skills & Experience: A minimum of 8 - 10 years post article experienceA minimum of 5 years within a group strategic and operational finance roleManufacturing, Renewable Energy, Heavy industry experienceMicrosoft Navision experienceDemonstrated exposure to cross-border, multi-currency, and fund-finance environments.Duties and Responsibilities: Drive financial strategy, capital planning, and liquidity management across all entities and regions.Support the CEO in investor reporting, fundraising (debt and equity), and institutional capital structuring.Ensure accuracy, integrity and timeous availability of all group financial reporting, consolidations, and management accounts.Drive automation and reporting improvements to enhance decision-making, audit readiness, and investor transparency.Implement and monitor group-wide financial risk management, including FX exposure, liquidity, and credit risk.Liaise with external auditors, banks, insurers, and tax advisors.Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Commercial teams to align financial insight with business outcomes.Lead and develop the finance and systems teams across the GroupThis is an exceptional opportunity to join a well-established, investor-backed renewable energy company that is making a tangible impact on Africa’s transition to clean energy.
