You will play a key role in the development of our business outside Denmark by supporting subsidiaries and contributing to group accounting. You will also be responsible for indirect tax and overall support for the group.How you will make a meaningful contributionAs Group Financial Controller, your core task will be to take care of several aspects of our indirect tax controlling and reporting. You will help control and ensure compliance with our indirect tax obligations and duties together with our other team within global tax. You will be a valued sparring partner in the team and for the finance organization in the tax area. As Group Financial Controller you will also work closely with our Transfer Pricing team.Your Key Responsibilities IncludeKey role for documentation of matters related to indirect tax and INTRASTATAssist in controlling and ensuring that we comply with our indirect tax obligations, especially in the areas of VAT, INTRASTAT and dutiesSupport and advise on ad hoc international VAT-related matters from management and the organizationSupport on VAT-related questions with regards to M&A-activitiesLead in streamlining and digitizing VAT compliance processes (ViDA etc.)Perform ongoing control efforts, reconciliation and validation of dataKeeping you updated on VAT legislation and practiceSupport to Transfer PricingAs you grow in the role, you will have the chance to contribute to optimizing our internal control environment and reporting solutions in relation to indirect tax and INTRASTAT.Bring your world-class expertise into playYou Are Fluent In Danish And English Both In Writing And Verbal At a Professional Level. Moreover, We Are Also Looking For a New Colleague Who HasAn academic background in Business Administration, Law, Accounting, Tax, Finance or a related fieldIdeally two years or more of experience in indirect tax, finance or accounting, from either a corporate role or a public accounting companyProficient in ERP systems, accounting software, and advanced Excel and reporting toolsEager to work with indirect tax matters from an international perspectiveKnowledge of transfer pricing is an advantageA strong willingness to learn and develop professionallyAs a person, you are a relationship builder and a team player, who masters to cooperate and coordinate broadly with colleagues as well as external advisors at all levels.
