This is a rare opportunity to influence food strategy, mentor our talented chefs and shape the future of dining within a respected and expanding group.Your Role Will IncludeProviding hands on leadership and support to Head Chefs across multiple venuesDriving menu development, seasonal updates and consistency in food presentation and qualityBuilding strong supplier relationships and championing the use of local, premium produceOverseeing food quality, kitchen standards and profitability across all sitesManaging kitchen budgets, P&Ls, labour costs and financial performanceLeading repair, maintenance and CapEx projects for kitchen operationsSupporting recruitment, training and a strong positive kitchen culture across the groupCollaborating with venue and operations teams to ensure smooth, efficient kitchen systemsWhat we’re looking for:Proven experience as an Executive or Group Chef within a multi site or high volume hospitality groupA genuine leader with strong communication and mentoring skillsA hands on approachable style that inspires and motivates kitchen teamsSolid financial and operational management experience (P&L, cost control, labour management, forecasting)Experience implementing and managing systems such as Deputy, Cooking the Books or similarPassion for fresh, seasonal and high-quality foodAbility to balance big-picture strategic planning with day-to-day operational excellenceA calm, adaptable and collaborative approach even under pressureThe Laundy Story:Four generations, countless beers poured, and a legacy built on good old-fashioned hospitality, that's the Laundy way.We kicked things off in 1945 with the Sackville Hotel in Rozelle and never looked back.
