Group Inventory & Stores Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Group Inventory & Stores Manager to oversee all inventory and storekeeping operations across our group of companies. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader responsible for developing and implementing inventory management policies, supervising a team of storekeepers, and ensuring operational efficiency. This role is critical to our supply chain and will be a key liaison between various business units and senior leadership.Prerequisites:A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar inventory management or stores manager leadership position.Proven track record of managing a team and implementing effective inventory control systems.Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics principles.Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Exceptional attention to detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all group entities.Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement measures to minimize losses, damage, and obsolescence.Analyze inventory data to forecast needs, optimize stock levels, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.Manage the group's inventory management system, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.Supervise and lead a team of individual storekeepers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.Ensure all storage facilities are organized, clean, and comply with safety regulations.Streamline receiving, storage, and distribution processes to improve workflow and turnaround times.Prepare and present regular inventory reports, including stock levels, variances, and performance metrics, to the directors of each company.Act as the primary point of contact for all inventory and storekeeping matters, reporting directly to the relevant Director on the overall group performance.If you have the leadership skills and strategic inventory experience to excel in this high-impact role, we invite you to apply.
