This role is essential for delivering an integrated view of group performance, supporting strategic decision-making and bringing financial data to life through compelling analysis and storytelling. Success in this position means enabling dynamic planning, insightful narratives and a robust performance management framework to drive the company's long-term objectives.We count on you for:Own and drive development of annual FP&A strategic objectives for the groupLead definition and governance of group-wide KPI and performance measurement frameworkConsolidate financial and operational results from all business units to deliver a comprehensive group-level view and comparison of performance vs TargetsLead dynamic, rolling planning cycles to integrate forecasts and performance KPIsExtract actionable insights from consolidated data, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for leadershipCraft and present compelling financial narratives and presentations that enable executive decision-makingEnsure consistency, accuracy and compliance in group consolidation and reporting processesSupport continuous enhancement of planning and consolidation tools, standards and methodologiesFoster collaboration with business and regional controllers to improve data quality and planning cyclesYou will bring:Education & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or relevant fieldProfessional certification (CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.5+ years of experience in financial consolidation, group controlling, or FP&A roles within a multinational environmentProven track record in financial planning, group consolidation, and performance managementExpert in leading complex consolidation and rolling planning cycles, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of group financial resultsTechnical SkillsAdvanced skills in Excel, Hyperion, SAP BPC, Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau.Deep expertise in consolidation/reporting/planning/compliance.Strong analytical skills, with ability to extract key insights from large, complex datasetsFamiliarity with ERP and BI system automation.Experience with process optimization and digital transformationDesired BehaviorsExcellent storytelling, presentation, and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsEnterprise-wide mindset and seeing the "big picture"Resilience in dynamic, complex environments.Ability to collaborate cross-functionally at all levelsCollaborating across cultures and high personal accountabilityProactive, hands-on and continuous improvement mindsetChallenging status quo and driving transformationYou will get:Competitive salary and benefits package16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulationsTraining platform for all employeesFree language courses (24 languages available)Free well-being sessions (physical and psychologAdditional InformationLocation: Brussels, BelgiumHybrid work (3 days on-site, up to 2 days remote)About UsSyensqo is a science company developing groundbreaking solutions that enhance the way we live, work, travel and play.
