Job Location: RemoteWorking Hours, Flexible Task basedCompensation: Unpaid, with a potential transition to a paid agreement and participation in company shares via ESOP PlanDuration:16 weeksOverview:We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Marketing Lead to drive customer acquisition, enhance lifecycle marketing, and grow brand engagement across social channels. You will play a key role in shaping our full-funnel marketing strategy, from performance campaigns and CRM journeys to community engagement and content planning.If you’re passionate about data-backed growth, audience insights, and brand storytelling—and can lead teams while rolling up your sleeves—this role is for you.Key ResponsibilitiesAcquisition MarketingOwn and optimise paid and organic acquisition channels (Search and Display, Social, Influencer, Affiliates, etc.)Develop and execute always-on and campaign-specific strategies to drive qualified user growthAnalyse channel performance and iterate based on CAC, LTV, ROAS and funnel metricsCollaborate with product and analytics teams to improve user journey and conversion ratesCustomer / Lifecycle MarketingLead email, push, and in-app messaging strategies to drive onboarding, activation, and retentionDevelop segmented and personalised campaigns based on behavioural triggers and lifecycle stagesOwn CRM platform management and work with data teams to build automated journeysDesign and test loyalty and referral mechanics to increase CLTVSocial Media & Community EngagementDevelop content calendars and oversee execution across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X and YouTubeManage in-house and/or agency support for creative, social content, and community responsesLead social listening, trend analysis, and creator partnerships to boost engagement and brand sentimentBuild a brand voice that resonates with the target audience and reflects brand valuesQualifications:5+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong track record in acquisition and lifecycle rolesDeep understanding of performance marketing metrics and CRM tools (e.g. Klaviyo, Hubspot)Proven experience developing customer journeys and retention strategiesStrong grasp of social media dynamics, content strategy, and engagement metricsExceptional project management and stakeholder communication skillsData-driven and commercially minded with a test-and-learn mindsetExperience in fintech, edtech or consumer tech, a strong plus
