We Are Recruiting To Fill The Position BelowJob Title: Boiler TechnicianLocation: Apapa, LagosPurposeTo operate efficiently and maintain FMN or GSC Boiler equipment while liaising with Boiler Supervisor, Sectional Managers and operations to always deliver all high-quality steam. ResponsiblitiesTo ensure in collaboration with Utilities team that all Boilers in FMN or GSC, and associated equipment are operated reliably per OEM standards and best practices in the industry.
In collaboration with the utilities management team, to carry out overall preventative; corrective; shutdown/repair maintenance for all the boilers as assigned in line with set OEM standards and SOP. Liaise with other boiler utilities technicians and site/plant operations to always deliver thermal efficiencies (fuel/steam; fuel/finished product; condensate utilization, right boiler water chemistry) and any other utilities improvement initiative in line with production demands while proactively mitigating downtimes as much as possible. Consistently upskill oneself to confront boiler operational realities with a view to position oneself for next challenges.
Qualifications / Experience5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings/Technical qualifications. Minimum of two years of relevant experience, preferably in the FMCG Industry. The Person MustHave good interpersonal and communication skills. Have hands-on experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial boilers and auxiliary systems. Have sound knowledge of boiler operations, maintenance, and safety protocols.
