About GuardyGuardy is a fast-growing platform built to simplify team management for Color Guard and Marching Arts organizations. We help instructors and directors manage inventory, members, communication, finances and soon, buy and sell equipment via our in-app marketplace. We’ve built an MVP, onboarded early users, and validated the need. Now, we’re looking for a scrappy, creative, and community-savvy Head of Growth to join our founding team and help us reach every guard team in the country. The OpportunityAs Head of Growth, you’ll lead all things related to user acquisition, brand awareness, and viral loops.
You’ll create and execute marketing strategies, drive content, and build an engaged user base—from high school instructors to independent circuit performers. This is your chance to grow a brand from zero to thousands of users with full creative control, high impact, and founder-level ownership.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and execute a growth plan to drive app signups, engagement, and referralsCreate and manage content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and emailRun campaigns targeting instructors, directors, teams, and band programsLaunch partnerships with influencers, schools, and organizations (WGI, DCI, DSI)Set up and optimize lead capture, onboarding funnels, and landing pagesTrack and report on growth KPIs like signups, churn, virality, and retentionCollaborate with the founder and product team to improve onboarding and user flowTurn users into superfans through testimonials, community features, and challengesWhat We’re Looking For2–5+ years in growth marketing, user acquisition, or community buildingStrong grasp of content strategy, social media growth, and digital marketingExperience building early traction for SaaS, apps, or creator toolsFamiliarity with tools like Mailchimp, Notion, Typeform, Linktree, CanvaBonus:
