Job DescriptionGuggenheim Securities (“GS”) is seeking exceptional Analysts to join its Global Aerospace & Defense Investment Banking team in Los Angeles. The Aerospace & Defense group is a rapidly growing and critically important strategic initiative for Guggenheim Securities (“GS”). Our Analysts play an integral role in evolving and enhancing our client relationships and are active participants throughout the life of a transaction and beyond. Analysts will join a highly collaborative team responsible for providing M&A advisory and capital raising (equity and fixed income) service and capabilities to corporate clients.

GS offers a unique opportunity to work as part of small client teams on major strategic and financing assignments, providing meaningful exposure to senior bankers and client representatives. We will provide best-in-class Investment Banking training—formal and hands-on—as you continue to develop your professional toolkit: M&A process management, business acumen, financial analysis, data analysis, soft-selling and presentation skills, professional communication (verbal, written and virtual), negotiations, and more.

Essential Job FunctionsPrepare and contribute to delivery of client presentations and interact with senior bankers, clients, lawyers, and accountantsAssist in the design and development of complex financial models and valuation analysisDraft internal and client-facing documents, including management presentations, lender presentations, fairness opinions, and pitchbooksPerform client due diligence, prepare information memoranda and other transaction-related documentationContribute to the creation of strategic frameworks, tools, and intellectual property to aid business development activities of the firmConduct competitive research, including identifying sector and industry trendsGather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, develop and communicate recommendations to senior leadershipPreferred QualificationsPrior internship experience in investment banking, accounting, consulting, private equity, hedge fund or corporate finance is a plusFamiliarity with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS WordSignificant level of maturity and the ability to work as a team interfacing with top company executives and senior managementHighly organized, with the initiative and ability to work with limited supervisionExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailStrong written and oral communication skillsEffective process management abilitiesBasic QualificationsMust be on track to receive a Bachelor’s degree in:

December 2025 or Spring 2026SIE Exam, Series 79 and Series 63 must be acquired within 150 days of employmentWork LocationCurrently, this role is expected to be in the ­­­­Los Angeles office at least 4 days per week. SalaryBase salary of $110,000 The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
