As an Application Developer you will be working together with various stakeholders located in Switzerland, Malaysia and other countries, to develop, test and implement configuration software aiming to improve business process support by providing adequate configuration applications. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, a solid understanding of software development life cycles, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Join our team and significantly be involved in the success of Gutor through your work and personality!Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesTranslate business requirements into specifications and design, as well as perform, the required functional and non-functional tests before releasing the software (develop, test, and deploy custom applications and software solutions). Analyze deficiencies or possible technical or process-related enhancements and propose adequate solutions to fill the gaps and improve existing applications (Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications).

Verify change requests, specify the software requirements, make the required modifications in the respective applications, test and document these changes. Participate in the activities (planning as well as execution) in cooperation with the teams in Switzerland, Slovakia, Spain and Malaysia. Be part of a programming group and work in an agile environment (Jira sprints)Document developments for involved stakeholdersKnowledge And Skills – RequiredBachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience in a software development environment Practical experience in object orientated programming technologies (e. g. C++, C#, Java etc.
