Exciting opportunity, we are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor for Hamina, Finland. This role is supporting various sites across the Nordics incorporating, Sweden and Norway, reporting into a HR Manager.

If you are a passionate HR professional seeking a challenge and rewarding role in a dynamic international environment apply nowClear understanding of Finnish laws and legislations Must have the ability to take the HR lead for employees of these sites within these countries, working independentlyMust be from Logistics/Supply chain or similar operational based industryPrevious experience is required as a HR professional Union experience is a mustDue to the nature of the role, you will need to be a driver and have access to a carSome travel might be requiredFluent in Finnish and English, speaking and writtenWhat Your Day Looks Like As a HR AdvisorYou will oversee the full HR cycle form recruitment, to onboarding, to employee experience and engagement, applying the local employment lawYou will be managing the screening, hiring, onboarding, and development of new employeesYou will act as a liaison between employees and management on different issues/topics or ER mattersYou have the ability to analyse data from support and translate it into HR initiatives, whilst supporting sites management identifying and implementing HR interventions that positively impact profitabilityYou will ensure compliance with the company policies, labor laws, and industry regulationsYou will be the point of contact for Union You will coordinate training and coaching to management leadership on policies, teamwork, and complianceYou will be promoting employee engagement and a positive working environment through regular personal contactSupporting and implementing GXO HR EMEA initiativesMaintaining accurate and compliant HR documentation and records dealing with confidential dataLeading, reporting HR-related administrative tasks in a timely and professional mannerEnsuring safe working practices and contributing to environmental performance initiativesWhat Do You Need To Be SuccessfulFluent in Finnish and English, speaking and written, Norwegian and Swedish language would be an advantageClear understanding of Finnish laws and legislations Must have the ability to take the HR lead for employees of these sites within these countries, working independentlyMust be from Logistics/Supply chain or similar operational based industryPrevious experience is required as a HR professional, dealing with payroll queries and case managementUnion experience is a mustExcel intermediate level as minimum required, with exposure to other systems; protime, visma or Success Factors/SF would be beneficial but not essentialWhat We Offer YouYou work in a dynamic organisation in which development and own input are central In addition to a competitive salary, we offer you a bonus.
