Job Overview JOB DESCRIPTION The GZ Business Manager for Well Intervention at Weatherford is responsible for leading product strategy, operations, commercialization, and financial performance across the geozone. Based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province (Al Rashid), Saudi Arabia, this role covers fishing services, cased-hole site tracking, and rigless intervention activities. The position ensures alignment with the Global Product Line strategy while meeting Aramco and regional market requirements. A strong focus is placed on asset utilization, manpower planning, accurate forecasting, revenue growth, and profitability.ResponsibilitiesLead safe delivery of well intervention services, including fishing, milling, and cased-hole operations.Oversee and track cased-hole site activity, ensuring visibility and coordination across all live and planned jobs.Manage asset and manpower utilization, including deployment, tracking, and performance of crews, tools, and equipment.Drive accurate forecasting of jobs, revenue, resources, and operating plans.Monitor and improve P&L performance and profitability across contracts, including Aramco Plus projects.Ensure operational efficiency, quality, HSE compliance, and customer satisfaction across all intervention activity.Provide technical and operational support to field teams across operating countries using platforms such as WISE.Lead commercialization and rollout of new well intervention technologies and solutions.Conduct market research to strengthen product positioning, market share, and strategic growth.Support the development and submission of tenders, BSAs, commercial proposals, and pricing strategies.Build strong internal and external relationships with Aramco and other regional operators.Represent the product line at conferences, forums, and industry events.Ensure all activities align with Weatherford’s governance, ethics, compliance, and HSE policies.Track and resolve product line quality issues (PC-1 & PC-2), driving continuous improvement.Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supply chain to optimize delivery and technology integration.Manage budgeting, cost control, inventory planning, and capital justification.Drive competency development, performance management, and succession planning across the team.Partner with HR and Training to recruit, develop, and retain talent.Share lessons learned across geozones and encourage operational best practices.Align product strategy with future market conditions and customer expectations.Demonstrate ethical leadership and uphold Weatherford standards in all decisions.SkillsExpertise in Well Intervention, including fishing, milling operationsStrong understanding of cased-hole site tracking and field execution oversightAsset management and manpower utilizationAccurate forecasting of jobs, revenue, and operational plansP&L and financial performance leadershipTendering, customer engagement, and contract deliveryHSE, service quality, and compliance enforcementCross-functional collaboration (sales, engineering, operations, supply chain)Market growth strategy and commercialization of technologiesTalent development and high-performance leadershipProven track record of delivery with Aramco or similar major clientsQualifications10–15 years of experience in Well Intervention, Product Line Management, or related oilfield operationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Scientific discipline (or equivalent experience)Strong background in well intervention operations, including fishing, milling, and cased-hole servicesProven experience managing international or multi-country product line activitiesDemonstrated track record in technology application, field operations, or product developmentExperience in budgeting, revenue forecasting, and P&L performance deliveryHistory of working with Aramco or other major NOCs is a strong advantage
