Job Role and ResponsibilitiesUnder broad direction, this role is responsible for delivering highly technical and/or specialized training and educational programs to internal and external customersMust have 2-5 years of Electrical ExperienceProvides subject matter expertise for highly technical training and/or professional development curriculumThe Senior Technical Instructor is responsible for partnering with Instructional Design in the curriculum development process to include design/redesign, execution, and success metricsIn addition, he/she is expected to develop skill demonstration exercises applying knowledge gained from field operations experienceConducts assessment of course objectives vs.
student performance, diagnosis of performance gaps such as CPI/EJCS data as well as incorporating PSL established competenciesAssesses employee needs and assists in the as-needed adaptation of training program materials, ensuring training content aligns appropriately to the learning style of the audience and addresses performance gaps for the Product Service Lines and Support OrganizationsSupports the development of less experienced technical instructors through coaching and mentoringThis role requires completion of an undergraduate degree in engineering, science, education, or similar disciplines in addition to 8+ years of experience relating to product service line operations, including curriculum development or trainingTraveling is a requirementCandidates having qualification that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher-level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
