About the role: Responsible for ensuring the serviceability of all equipment and systems under the department. Accountable for implementation of improvement proposals to enhance the infrastructure for a better and efficient performance and to reduce upon the maintenance cost. Responsible for the execution of all preventive, corrective and improvement works and to ensure they are carried out timely and in a safe manner as such not to hinder the airport operations. Accountable for effective and proper use of all resources and manpower with cost saving as the uppermost criteria.
Key responsibilitiesSupervise and monitor the operations and maintenance activities carrying by maintenance contractors as per ORACLE schedules to ensure that all activities performed in a timely manner. Delivering the quality assurance audits by carrying out inspections on electrical assets as per facilities asset management system and prepare the necessary reports. Lead, assign and supervise a team of Electrical supervisors (Both in house and contractors) performing the daily activities such as preventive maintenance audits and improvement works. Responsible to raise through ORACLE requisitions for spares and services as and when required within the approved budget.
Support in development of technical scope of work and specifications by evaluating the workplace and the service required for in house electrical engineering related projects in coordination with the Electrical Engineer or Line Manager. Carryout inspection of completed works by external vendors and ensure all specifications and regulatory requirements are met. To prepare and review electrical work methods in coordination with maintenance contractors and Permit to Work team (PTW), to ensure safe and efficient work execution as per the standards. Reviewing spare part usage and ensuring the required quantities available with maintenance contractors to have uninterrupted services.
To keep updated technical information of electrical assets and monitoring the asset performance on regular basis using Asset Management System. Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department. About youHigh School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience (or) bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum 3 years of job-related experiencePast Experience in Airport, Large commercial facilities or five-star Hotel. Detailed technical and theoretical knowledge on Operations, maintenance and technical fault diagnosis of electrical engineering assets and systems.
Detailed technical and theoretical knowledge on reading and interpreting electrical engineering design and As-built drawings, specifications, design codes and standards. Ability to plan, manage; train and supervise a team of multinational electrical supervisors, technicians and other stakeholders. Excellent oral/written communication skills in English language and at all levels. Professional knowledge and experience on the use of Microsoft office software. Ability to work on shift duty and over the weekends. Ability to share openly technical knowledge with subordinates.
