Spray drying is a critical unit operation in various industries, including food, pharmaceuticals, and materials engineering.
The goal of this research project is to develop hybrid models that combine machine learning techniques with physical simulations to predict and optimize key product characteristics, such as particle size distribution, morphology, and bulk density. You will work at the intersection of process engineering, computational modeling, and artificial intelligence, focusing on the development of predictive tools that can accelerate formulation design and process scale-up in spray drying.
