We are also on a bus route, with a stop just outside of the hotel, and our complimentary shuttle also picks up our employees from the bus loop at UBCO!What will you be doing?Welcome and acknowledge guestsAnticipate and address guests' service needsProcess all guest check-ins, check-outs, and create new reservationsSecure payment; activate/reissue room keys following hotels policies and proceduresCoordinate with Housekeeping to track room status and guest concernsDemonstrate knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, and promotions Maintain confidentiality of proprietary informationAssist with the continental breakfast as needed Preparing foods as per F&B Operations guidelinesUnderstand, follow and implement food safe guidelinesSetting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.
Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacatedPreparing and setting up hot food itemsRestocking items consistently throughout breakfast hours and for the next dayWashing serving equipment and returning to storagePerform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors and Managers Available to work varied shifts: days, evenings, weekends and holidaysWhat are we looking for?High School graduation requiredValid BC Class 5 driver’s license Previous hotel experience is an assetCommitment to delivering a high level of customer serviceSuperhost training is an assetGood computer skills requiredMust be legally eligible to work in Canada without restrictionPerks:
