This is a permanent part-time role (28 hours/week), Monday to Thursday, with rostered hours between 7: 30am - 5: 00pm, and up to 8: 00pm on Wednesdays. What You'll DoAs the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and supportive experience. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Providing a personalised welcome to patients, families / whānau, staff, and visitors with empathy and professionalismEnsuring accurate documentation and communication of patient movements, queries, clinic lists, and messagesMaintaining accurate patient charts process referrals, results, and correspondenceMaintaining clear, concise, professional communication within the team and with external health professionalsHandling payments and liaising with the accounts teamSupporting our doctors and clinical staff with timely admin assistanceGeneral office duties including scanning, filing, and supply managementPromoting and uphold the Harbour Cancer and Wellness Culture and tone with every interactionWhat You'll BringWe're looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic healthcare setting and genuinely cares about the patient journey.
