HARDWARE TECHNICIAN - LEUVEN (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITIONJob OverviewWe are currently recruiting for a motivated Hardware Technician to support our electronics production team. In this hands-on role, you will help assemble, test, and maintain electronic hardware, ensuring products are delivered to high-quality standards.You will work on prototype builds, small series production, and full-scale manufacturing, collaborating with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with electronics directly, following procedures, and contributing to innovative products in Belgium’s electronics sector.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble, wire, and solder electronic components according to instructions and schematics.Perform functional and quality checks on PCBs, modules, and systems.Troubleshoot and repair hardware during production.Support engineers with prototype builds and small-batch manufacturing.Keep records of testing, assembly, and production activities.Follow safety, quality, and regulatory procedures.Requirements / SkillsSecondary education diploma or equivalent.Ideally already some experience in a similar position.Physically able to lift up to 20 kg.Adequate written and verbal communication skills.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.Interest or affinity for electrical/electronic work.Ability to work independently and follow instructions.Able to prioritize tasks and follow specific procedures.The Offer:A permanent, full-time employment contractA salary & benefits package commensurate with experiencePlease send over your CV to tom.walker@vividresourcing.com or call me on +32 (0) 3 318 00 74.
