Deliver clinical support and screenings with an emphasis on corporate wellness initiatives, while also serving clinics, care centres, community sites, and private healthcare settingsProvide and coordinate Home-Based Care services for patients and their familiesDrive stakeholder engagement, marketing, and networking to strengthen programme reach and impact Educate target audiences and implement health promotion campaigns in alignment with CANSA’s national health calendarCompile accurate and timely weekly and monthly reportsCommit to ongoing self-development and professional skills enhancementIdentify and develop opportunities for income generation to support programme sustainabilityRoles and ResponsibilitiesCommunity Engagement & Relationship Building Utilise community structures to implement projects and events.
Promote CANSA’s national health programmes in line with organisational standards. Network with key community stakeholders and role players to strengthen programme delivery. Organise and support health screening events, ensuring alignment with CANSA benchmarks. Continuously evaluate and improve outreach activities in line with CANSA’s best practice model. Drive public awareness and always uphold CANSA’S brand and reputation. Cancer Control & Clinical SupportCoordinate and deliver Home-Based Care (HBC) services, including facilitating referral systems and ensuring appropriate follow-up and support for patients in need. Establish and maintain agreements with local service providers and organisations.
Support volunteers and stakeholders to ensure quality patient care and community outreach. Administer patient and volunteer surveys to assess service deliveryAdministrative Duties Accurately complete and maintain documentation using prescribed forms. Submit monthly statistics and reports as per CANSA’s audit and compliance protocols. Ensure timely and accurate data entry across relevant programme systems.
