Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our team, to lead the testing for our upcoming retail banking digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance from functional as well non-functional standpoint, and understanding of retail banking software/solutions. Major Duties & ResponsibilitiesBuild test plans for new features, continuously improving existing ones. Requirement Analysis and design test cases.
Conduct various types of testing (Smoke, Sanity, Functional, SIT, E2E, Compatibility, Regression, Accessibility, Performance) and assist with UAT and post-production verification. Conduct mobile app testing to ensure quality across web and mobile applications. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including Engineering team members, Product Managers, and Infra teams. Identify, track, and report defects, perform root cause analysis, and support defect triage. Maintain clear and thorough documentation of QA processes, test cases, and findings. Facilitate knowledge sharing across all team members. Qualifications & ExperienceDegrees, Diplomas & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job: 3+ years in QA engineering, with expertise in manual as well as web & mobile testing. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Proficient with JIRA, Zephyr, Postman, and Cross-browser/device tools. Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
