HybridCompetitive hourly rateState GovProject Coordinator with State Government Department Your new company Our client is a state government department looking for a Project Coordinator to assist with a Machinery of Government project and impacts. Your new role Provide high level administrative support to the Digital MoG project in a fast-paced working environment - including monitoring generic emails as required, file management, maintaining a project schedule. Provide high level secretariate services including undertaking effective, timely and proactive management of meetings through co-ordination of papers and preparation of Agenda's, taking of minutes and governance management of all documentation.
Support the team in a range of tasks, including providing dedicated project support on high priority emergent business such as project reporting responsibilities. Provide high level administrative support to the project to process procurement contract documentation and raising invoices. Maintain a high level of understanding of the project, activities, services, organisation arrangements, protocols and governance and brief up on current and emerging issues. Liaise with the Organisational Change Manager on key human resource challenges.
Co-ordinate internal staff training, project meetings and prepare reports, submissions, briefing notes and other correspondence in relation to a range of issues where necessary to support the team. Establish and maintain positive working relationships and partnerships with intra-agency, inter-agency and external stakeholders to ensure effective outcomesDemonstrate innovation and enthusiasm in developing, implementing, maintaining and reviewing administrative and governance systems and procedures in the Division. What you'll need to succeed Experience with MS Project would be highly regarded.
A good knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, especially Word, Power Point and ExcelPrevious experience in a project management environment would be highly regarded.
