Location: DublinRole: Permanent with excellent benefits and bonusYour new company Here at Hays Life Science Recruitment we are working with a well-known medical company and national supplier of medical equipment to hospitals, nursing homes and private homes throughout Ireland that are seeking an experienced Field Sales Manager on a permanent basis. The role requires an individual who is dynamic, with strong sales skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the company, Your new role You will support the sale and rental of specialist medical equipment across the acute and community service.

You will be required to support the growth of this business to ensure the long-term sustainability and performance of the business. Generate and manage sales within the divisions, ensuring agreed quarterly and annual sales targets are delivered through a combination of appropriate activities with existing and potential customers to meet or exceed sales targets on an ongoing basis. Develop and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), including a range of senior health professionals and key suppliers. Take leadership from the Sales & Marketing Director for the sales strategy and drive its implementation.

Ability to explore new clients, market potential and business opportunities. Ensure that all activities are undertaken in line with the overall requirements of the company sales plan and sales objectives. Keep up to date on market and product developments allied to the industry and keep representatives and management fully informed. To follow company procedures and attend all courses, seminars and training sessions as deemed necessary. Actively gather market intelligence and information related to competitor activities to support decision-making on performance and allocating resources. Seek and evaluate new product ideas, providing adequate information and facilitate ongoing communication.

Assist in product evaluations and / or clinical studies as appropriate. Work closely and effectively with the sales team and with support functions to provide the best possible service to the customer and the patient. Participate in trade shows, training, and marketing activities as requiredAssist with the contracts / tender process for all Key Accounts when necessary. Prioritise objectives and schedule work to make the best use of time and resources. Maintain accurate records and submit timely reports for the DivisionsLead, coach and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Provide strategic direction and day-to-day support to a team expanding in size and scope, ensuring alignment with company goals. Ensure that you comply with risk-assessed policies and procedures relating to IT Security, Health and SafetyWhat you'll need to succeed Tenacity, drive, and enthusiasm to support the growth of the business unit in partnership with leading brandsExperience in executing territory sales plans. Strong commercial skills coupled with a highly developed analytical ability. Must be a skilled negotiator and influencer with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to produce results, prioritise objectives, and schedule work to make the best use of time and resourcesFlexible and enthusiastic mindsetStrong work ethic and competitive drive to achieve work goals and quantifiable business results. Proven sales calibre and sales growth drivenProfessional skills include sales and territory analysis, budget management and problem-solving using data. Ability to meet frequently with team members, customers, and other decision makers. Ability to travel frequently throughout the assigned territory of ROI. Product or procedural knowledge of medical devices is required. Ability to travel abroad for training, supplier meetings and conferences.
