Security Lead

Ideally a defense background Officer from any arm/ service of the Indian Army/ Air Force/ Navy or an Army JCO from EME/ Signals. Preference would be given to candidate with a proven track record in overseeing Physical Security, Risk Management, Vendor Governance, Personnel Safety, Security Designing, Audit & Compliance and Crisis Management within corporate environments, particularly in IT or IT-enabled sectors. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential. About the Role: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive security strategies to safeguard company assets, employees, and information. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of physical security across multiple corporate sites.

Collaborate with senior management to develop risk assessments and security policies. Supervise security teams, including third-party vendors, ensuring strict adherence to security protocols and compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and prepare detailed reports. Oversee crisis management plans, emergency response protocols, and conduct drills. Act as the point of contact for all security-related incidents, ensuring timely resolution and reporting. Ensure the security infrastructure (CCTV, access control, etc. ) is maintained and fully operational. Coordinate with local law enforcement and government authorities as required. Provide security training and awareness programs for employees.

Provide security coverage to the high-profile events and movements of senior leadership. Qualifications: Must be a graduate. Experience of working in the IT or ITes industry will be preferred. Minimum of 8-15 years of experience in security management or related roles. Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with ability to handle high pressure situations. Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Proficient in security technologies, risk management frameworks, and industry best practices. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, Legal, Sourcing and GWS. Preferred Skills: Certifications in security management (e. g. , CPP, PSP) or related fields.

Experience in crisis management and organizational emergency preparedness.
