We specialize in implementing and optimizing HCM solutions for clients across multiple regions. About the Role We are seeking a Payroll Consultant with extensive experience in US and Canadian payroll to join our HCM team. This role requires working aligned to North American Eastern Standard Time (EST), which will involve night shifts in Mauritius. You will work directly with clients to deliver high-quality Dayforce implementations, guiding them from requirements gathering to deployment, and ensuring payroll processes meet regional compliance and best-practice standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the configuration, testing, and deployment of Dayforce Payroll, WFM, and Benefits modules for US and Canadian clients Document, analyze, and validate client payroll requirements and translate them into Dayforce configurations Provide expert functional guidance on payroll, tax compliance, and benefits administration across US and Canada Conduct workshops, client trainings, and post-implementation support Troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll and system issues Collaborate closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines Maintain accurate documentation, project tracking, and billing information Stay current with Dayforce product releases, payroll regulations, and compliance changes in North America.Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, or related field Experience & Technical Skills: 5+ years of experience in HCM consulting, with strong focus on Payroll in US and Canada Proven experience implementing and supporting Dayforce Payroll solutions Deep understanding of payroll legislation, taxation, and benefits administration in the US and Canada Familiarity with workforce scheduling, time tracking, and pay calculation Experience with data integration tools (XML, XSLT, API feeds) and reporting solutions Proficient in Microsoft Office and documentation best practices Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English and French Strong client-facing, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously Detail-oriented and committed to high-quality delivery Team-oriented and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Shift: Aligned with North American Eastern Standard Time (EST)  SHARE YOUR CV TO: qaynaat.gopaul@bdo.mu
