Let’s shape the future of wealth management together.COO Asia Business Management supports the COO Asia in execution of the COO mandate to support the Bank’s growth strategy by providing reliable, scalable and efficient platform and services to the Front Office functions.YOUR CHALLENGEkEY FEATURES OF THE POSITIONPeople ManagementManage the COO Asia Business Management team (4 FTEs), set team development goals and objectives, and review performance against targetsClient Management (internal)Deliver strategic/regional projects for COO Asia to support the business growth in the regionAs Singapore TPRM and Outsourcing Coordinator: maintain outsourcing register, manage risks of TPRM and outsourcing arrangements from BJB Singapore, and ensure compliance to local policy and regulationLead the COO Culture and Values program within COO area and collaborate with head office for alignment with respective global programBusiness ManagementPrepare management reports for global, regional, and local management committees where COO Asia is involvedManage financial and headcount budget for COO Asia and ensure cost discipline in the divisionAlign and maintain relevance of COO Asia policies to comply with local regulations, and support COO Asia management in operationalizing the policiesManage COO Asia Change-the-Bank budget, ensure cost within targetTrack open audit items, ensure follow-up and timely closureLead cross-divisional initiatives to recommend and deliver solutions benefiting the business growth and frontline efficiency as well as in compliance of risk and controlRegulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk ManagementDemonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulationsCommittee MembershipCOO ASIA MCRANK APPLICABLE TO THE POSITIONDirector or Executive DirectorYOUR PROFILESkills Requirements Of The PositionPersonal and SocialStrong analytical and problem solving skillsGood interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to set priorities and work independently under pressureCapability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and cultivate positive working relationships across divisionsProfessional and TechnicalMinimum bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant work experience in private bankingDeep understanding of private banking business, as well as back office operationsExperienced in managing a team to reach a set targetExperience in scoping and managing Change-the-Bank initiativesExcellent MS Excel and Power Point skillsWe are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
