Responsibilities:Formulate and review credit risk framework, policies, procedures, risk controls as well as limits/ parameters with consideration of aggregated risk exposures.Review, feedback and sign off on all the independent credit risk comments prepared by credit risk staff prior the submission of credit risk comments to relevant credit committees for credit transactions undertaken by Debt Capital Market (DCM), Equity Capital Market (ECM), Futures Trading & Stockbroking Department to ensure the relevant credit risks are highlighted with appropriate credit risks mitigation and balanced recommendations.Attend and present the credit risk views in Credit Underwriting Committees to facilitate the committee’s endorsement of credit-related transactions and/proposals initiated.Provide value-added credit advisory/ guidance on discussions initiated by Business Units and challenge the business owners' rationales where necessary. Ensure that the business/ product proposals are assessed from credit risks perspectives by undertaking the necessary evaluation and action plans to identify, address and mitigate relevant credit risks. Establish key risk monitoring approach/methodology relating to credit risk and provide advisory support to achieve business objectives.Lead the Credit Evaluation & Policy team, and provide value-added credit advisory/support to Country Risk teams on credit-related transactions and/or on matters relating to the credit risk management and policies.Develop Early Warning Indicators to detect at early stage the likelihood of deterioration of asset quality/ counterparties' creditworthiness.Involve in stress testing exercise to provide inputs to credit risk component. Propose the credit risk appetite, governance, and methodology for Board’s approval. Keep abreast of regulatory requirements on credit risk and to ensure the necessary is in place to ensure compliance.Address any request and investigate any potential credit risk related issue which may be raised by regulators, auditors and internal audit during periodic review.Requirements:Min Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Banking or equivalent.Minimum 10 years of experience in investment banking and financial services industry (work experience on credit evaluation/credit management is compulsory)Ability to lead and manage a team of personnel across the region with diverse culture, talent and work environment.Experience in assessing credit risk profile of diverse counterparties within the investment banking environment.Ability to articulate, converse and make representation to senior management on credit matters.Ability collaborate and drive the team across the region to achieve the Bank’s objectives.Experience in cooperating with business partners to achieve team synergy and the Bank’s objectives.
