About Junior Asian Golf Academy (JAGA) The Junior Asian Golf Academy (JAGA) is a premier golf and international boarding school that integrates elite golf coaching with academic excellence. The UAE campus, located at the Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club, provides exceptional golf, academic, and athletic facilities in a supportive and dynamic environment. Position Overview The Head Golf Coach leads JAGA’s UAE golf program, overseeing the training, performance, and personal development of junior athletes. This role is ideal for a PGA-certified professional with experience coaching collegiate or academy-level players, a strong understanding of strength and conditioning, and excellent leadership and organizational skills. The Head Coach will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs, managing team operations, supervising students, and ensuring that JAGA maintains the highest standards of golf performance and care. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver comprehensive golf training programs and individual development plans. Conduct BELT tests and performance assessments to monitor player progress. Recruit and evaluate prospective student-athletes for the academy. Supervise students during coaching sessions, tournaments, and off-course activities. Coordinate with the Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club for tee time bookings, course use, and golf operations. Manage team administration, including tournament schedules, competition logistics, and player travel. Create and oversee tournament schedules and manage participation in regional and international events. Integrate strength and conditioning principles into training or coordinate with fitness specialists. Provide mentorship and guidance to student-athletes, emphasizing professionalism and personal growth. Collaborate with academic and residential staff to ensure student welfare and holistic development. Maintain detailed records of training sessions, attendance, and player performance. Promote JAGA’s values of sportsmanship, integrity, and excellence in all areas. Qualifications & Experience PGA Certified Professional (or equivalent international golf credential). Demonstrated experience coaching junior, collegiate, or academy-level golfers. Experience or certification in strength and conditioning preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Ability to work effectively within an international, multicultural team environment. Valid driver’s license required. First Aid and Child Protection certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Compensation & Benefits Free off-site accommodation provided for relocating staff. Daily meal allowance provided.
