As Head of 1st Line Credit, you will lead a team of three specialised units focused on credit approvals, governance and projects, as well as adviser support and training.You will collaborate closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including the Personal Banking DK Senior Leadership Team, the 2nd line risk organisation, Group Legal, and external partners such as the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (DFSA). Design, implement, and communicate credit improvement plans that enhance operational efficiency and credit quality. Act as Danske Bank’s representative in dialogues with the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (DFSA) and participate in the RD All Risk Committee alongside the 2nd line Risk team. Drive the Personal Banking credit agenda across Danske Bank’s retail business, balancing customer needs with regulatory requirements and credit risk appetite. Build strong relationships with stakeholders across a complex organisational structure, ensuring collaboration and alignment of initiatives. Experience working with senior leadership and managing diverse stakeholder groups, including external partners and regulatory bodies like the DFSA. Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to foster alignment across multiple functions and stakeholders. Expertise in balancing efficient, customer-focused credit processes with compliance to regulatory standards and the bank’s credit appetite.
