Join a leading international industrial group as Head of Accounting - SSC Manager.Operating in over 25 countries, our client delivers tailored technological solutions across energy, environment, infrastructure, industry, and defense sectors.Job DescriptionAs Head of Accounting - SSC Manager, you will oversee the accounting production for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with local (Belgian) and IFRS standards. You will lead the Shared Services Center team, guarantee the accuracy of financial data, and act as a strategic partner to the Group's Business Units.Key responsibilities include:Leading and managing the accounting SSC teamPreparing the SSC budget and overseeing cost allocation to entitiesActing as technical expert on Belgian GAAP and IFRSManaging monthly and annual closings, statutory and consolidated accountsImplementing internal controls and reconciliation processesEnsuring legal compliance and coordinating external auditsSupervising treasury, FX, and cash forecasting processesOrganizing Belgian tax declarations (VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax)Contributing to transformation and digitalization projectsCollaborating with other shared services across the GroupThe Successful ApplicantExperience & Skills:Minimum 10 years in accounting or audit, including 3-5 years in a leadership roleStrong expertise in Belgian GAAP and IFRSProven experience in multi-entity accounting and closingsProficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)Bilingual in French and EnglishPersonal Attributes:Natural leadership and service mindsetAnalytical thinking and ability to manage complexitySolution-oriented with a continuous improvement mindsetComfortable in a matrixed and multicultural environmentWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary package including:Company carMeal vouchersNet allowancesInsurance coverage (hospitalization, life, income protection)Variable bonus (up to 25% of annual gross salary)Profit-sharing schemeFlexible working model (1-2 days remote/week)Structured onboarding program (6 months)Continuous training and internal mobility31 days of legal and extra-legal leave
