Head of Admissions & MarketingCheshire AreaInterim – 4 month initial contract£(Flexible depending on experience)An established higher education institution is seeking an experienced Head of Admissions & Marketing to join them on an interim basis for an initial four-month contract.This university has built a strong reputation for innovation, inclusivity, and delivering real impact through education. With growing student numbers and an exciting period of development ahead, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced higher education professional to play a key role in shaping its recruitment and admissions strategy.The successful candidate will lead and manage a small but dedicated team, providing hands-on leadership while ensuring the smooth running of all admissions and marketing activities across a diverse range of programmes.As Head of Admissions & Marketing, your role will include, but is not limited to:Providing leadership and operational management for the admissions team, overseeing a high volume of applications across multiple programme types.Developing and executing marketing and student recruitment strategies to maintain a strong pipeline of applicants.Acting as a key contact for prospective students, parents, and internal stakeholders, and reporting to senior leadership.Overseeing the admissions process, ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations, deadlines, and internal policies.Managing the use of CRM and admissions systems to streamline processes and improve applicant experience and communication.This role would be well-suited to someone with previous experience from the higher education sector.
